BEAR Tower Defense Unlock Priority Planner
Mark what you own — we suggest the next Coin buys and flag Balloon Bob gaps.
Spending Coins on the wrong tower is the quietest way to lose BEAR Tower Defense runs. Balloon Bobs on Haunted Mansion wave five do not care that you unlocked a fun cosmetic tower — they require Psychic, Electrisam, or Hype Beast coverage from Anti-Air. Meanwhile meta DPS units (Cheese Factory, Rockstar) sit unowned because Quidz capsules distracted you. The Unlock Priority Planner converts Best Towers rankings into a personal Coin shopping list.
This page explains how the tool works, when to trust its recommendations, and how to combine output with Grind Quidz, Getting Started, and Best Item Combos once your roster catches up.
What the planner solves
BEAR TD separates three economies:
- Cheese — In-match placement and upgrades.
- Coins — Permanent tower unlocks in the inventory menu.
- Quidz — Capsules, cosmetics, long-term banners.
New players mix these up and buy towers that do not stack — duplicate ground DPS without economy or air. The planner focuses on Coins because those choices are permanent until you grind more Quidz or Active Codes grant bonuses.
Priority order mirrors community clears and wiki tier lists:
- Economy and core DPS — Cheese Factory, Psychic, Rockstar.
- Anti-air — Electrisam, Hype Beast, or confirmed Psychic investment before aerial maps.
- Situational specialists — Sam, Buckethead upgrades matter but often come free early.
- Collection / fun picks — After gaps close.
Before you use the tool
Gather your current unlocks from the Roblox tower inventory menu. Include starter units (Bear, Buckethead) even if they feel default — marking them prevents duplicate recommendations.
Also note Game Pass shortcuts:
- Hype Beast Early — Mark Hype Beast owned if the pass unlocked it.
- VIP — Does not replace tower unlocks; only marks convenience perks on Items Explained.
If you have not cleared Lost Temple Easy yet, read Getting Started first — the planner assumes you understand Cheese vs Coins.
How to use the Unlock Priority Planner
The interactive widget below runs in your browser — no Roblox login, no data sent off-site. Follow this workflow each session:
- Mark owned towers — Tap every tower you have already unlocked with Coins or Game Pass early access.
- Read recommended next unlocks — The planner lists the highest-impact Coin purchase still missing from your roster.
- Check anti-air status — If you see a flying gap warning, prioritize Psychic, Electrisam, or Hype Beast before Haunted Mansion Hard queues.
- Buy in order — Spend Coins on the top suggestion, then refresh ownership and repeat.
- Reset when needed — Use reset if you are theorycrafting alt accounts or testing patch changes.
Mid-match Cheese decisions stay manual — the planner does not place towers for you. Pair recommendations with Complete Puzzles so Battery income funds upgrades for newly unlocked units.
Unlock Priority Planner
Mark towers you already own. We suggest what to buy next and whether your roster can hit flying Bobs.
Recommended next unlocks
You already own the priority shortlist. Focus upgrades and placement next.
Reading planner output
Recommended next unlocks — Ordered list based on meta value per Tier List Hub. First entry is usually the largest win for unspent Coins.
Anti-air coverage looks solid — You own enough aerial DPS to handle Balloon Bobs on standard Maps Overview routes. Shift focus to Rockstar burst or Cheese Factory economy.
Flying gap warning — You are missing dedicated anti-air before Balloon Bob waves. Fix this before farming Quidz on Haunted Mansion or pushing Beat Hard Mode.
Empty / complete shortlist — Core meta owned. Spend time on placement in Beat Boss Waves, Best Item Combos, or Hard clears for drops — not random Coin sinks.
Example progression paths
Day one account
Own: Bear, Buckethead. Planner pushes Psychic or Cheese Factory first depending on patch tuning — both appear on Best Towers S-tier. Run Lost Temple Easy while saving Coins from milestone rewards.
Pre-Haunted Mansion farm
Own: Bear, Buckethead, Psychic. Anti-air gap clears for basic Easy farms. Add Cheese Factory then Rockstar before cosmetics. Start Grind Quidz loop.
Hard Mode ready
Own: Core S-tier plus Electrisam or Hype Beast. Planner shifts to situational picks (Sam) or confirms completion. Queue Haunted Mansion Hard with Beat Boss Waves strats.
When the planner disagrees with capsules
Quidz capsules can roll towers early — mark them owned immediately so recommendations skip duplicates. If a capsule gives a B-tier unit while Psychic remains locked, still buy Psychic with Coins unless the rolled tower is a direct anti-air answer you lack.
Capsule luck Game Pass increases roll quality but does not change priority logic — see Items Hub.
Patch updates
Cheedaman adjusts Coin costs, level gates, and tower baselines frequently. After major BEARSTAR updates:
- Re-read Best Towers for tier shifts.
- Reset and re-mark the planner.
- Confirm Maps Overview difficulty rules if new maps launch.
Wiki tool logic updates with tier list changes — if a recommendation looks stale, check Official Links Discord pins first.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How does the Unlock Priority Planner work?
Mark towers you own in the interactive widget. It recommends the next Coin unlocks from the current meta and warns if you lack anti-air coverage for Balloon Bobs.
What should I unlock first in BEAR Tower Defense?
Cheese Factory, Psychic, and Rockstar lead the meta. Psychic also covers early anti-air. The planner orders these based on what you already own.
Does the planner save my progress?
Selections typically persist in browser storage for convenience. Re-mark towers after purchases or use reset when testing alt accounts.
Why does the planner warn about flying gaps?
Balloon Bobs on Haunted Mansion wave five require anti-air towers. Buckethead cannot hit them — unlock Psychic, Electrisam, or Hype Beast first.
Should I follow the planner or the tier list?
They align — the planner personalizes Best Towers rankings for your account. Use both: tier list for why, planner for what next.
